About
Indyana Schneider is an Australian mezzo soprano and writer.
A graduate of Magdalen College, Oxford University, and the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien, Hannover Germany, Indyana recently completed two years as a member of the International Opera Studio of the Zurich Opera.
She has performed at opera houses including the Sydney Opera House, Wiener Staatsoper, Garsington Opera, Opernhaus Zürich, State Opera South Australia, Theater für Niedersachsen, and Lithuanian National Opera & Ballet Theatre
Off the stage, Indyana is the author of two novels published with Scriber / Simon & Schuster. She is writing the poetry for a set of new songs by Canadian composer Cecilia Livingston, set to debut in New York City in Spring 2027. With a grant from Create NSW, she is also writing an opera cabaret, Lip Service, with Rosalind Dobson.

Author
Indyana wrote her debut novel, 28 Questions, on the tube while working in development in London's third sector.
